Meet the College Course Advisor: Harriet Curry

Hi, I’m Harriet! I’m a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist in private practice, a coach and supervisor at the UK college of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. I’m also a course advisor!
My journey into the world of therapy started with a passion for mental health and well-being. This led me to study psychology for my undergraduate degree with a dream to pursue a career as a therapist.
After university I somehow ended up working in finance for 3 years (I still have no idea how I got there!) but very fortunately, I found my way back to following my dream when I found The UKCHH back in 2020.
Since qualifying, I have been running my own private practice and have supported over 200 clients! I have specialisms in binge eating, body image, self-esteem and generalised anxiety. Alongside working 1:1 with clients, I have created my own courses, digital toolboxes including a library of hypnosis recordings, ran workshops for companies, and even was invited as a guest lecturer at a UK university to speak about hypnotherapy! The opportunities that I have been presented with since completing the Hypno-CBT® diploma have simply been incredible.
If you’re interested in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy because you want to switch careers or add Hypno-CBT® to your current skillset, I’d love to chat with you.
I was once in your shoes and so I fully understand this is a huge and perhaps even life changing decision to make. My goal is simply for you to leave our call having all the information you need to make the right choice for you and your future.
