About me

My approach is warm, compassionate and collaborative, and I aim to create a supportive and non-judgemental space in which each person feels listened to, understood and able to explore their difficulties at their own pace.
I have a particular interest in working with children and teens, helping them navigate the challenges of growing up and develop the confidence and emotional skills they need to thrive. Childhood and adolescence can bring many pressures, from worries about school, friendships and family relationships to anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism and difficulties managing strong emotions. Sometimes, these challenges can feel overwhelming, and children may struggle to explain what they are experiencing or know how to ask for help.

Together, we explore what may be contributing to difficulties and develop strategies to manage worries, build resilience, strengthen self-belief and approach challenging situations with greater confidence.

I recognise that seeking support for a child can also be an important step for parents and carers. I aim to work sensitively with families, helping parents better understand their child’s experiences and consider ways to support them, while respecting the young person’s individual needs and appropriate boundaries around confidentiality.

My practise also involves working with adults experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, stress, fears and phobias, low confidence and self-esteem, and challenges managing emotions or navigating significant life changes.
Whatever a person’s age or circumstances, I believe that feeling understood and having the opportunity to develop a different perspective can be an important starting point for change.
I help clients recognise unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping strategies and build a more helpful relationship with their thoughts and feelings. Therapy is tailored to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

My aim is to help each client recognise their strengths, feel more confident in their ability to manage life’s challenges and make positive, meaningful changes. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process in which people feel empowered, supported and better equipped to move forward.
